EUROPOLISH joins the HILZINGER Group
In its official announcement dated 16 September 2026, WASAG Holding, part of the HILZINGER Group, acquires a majority stake in EUROPOLISH. The transaction strengthens expertise, international reach and customer support while preserving the company’s identity and continuity. Giuseppe Vigevani remains a key shareholder and continues to lead the group of companies headed by EUROPOLISH.

Sabbio Chiese, 16 September 2026. Effective on this date, WASAG Holding, part of the HILZINGER Group, has acquired a majority stake in EUROPOLISH S.r.l. The transaction brings EUROPOLISH into an international industrial group with more than 120 years of experience in developing tools and solutions for surface processing and finishing.
Products, tools and processes
The integration brings together polishing compounds, products for mass finishing, lapping and fine grinding, and tools and automated processes. The aim is to develop coordinated solutions in which compounds, tools and operating parameters are designed to work together.
Continuity and an international outlook
Europolish retains its identity, organisation and direct relationships with customers. The announcement confirms that Giuseppe Vigevani will continue to lead the company and outlines new opportunities for collaboration in research, technical support and the international sales and logistics network.
