Europolish Deutschland was established in 2011 as a sales location, combining local process consulting with the group’s comprehensive product and development expertise.

Europolish Deutschland
Europolish Deutschland GmbH was established in Germany in July 2011 as a sales office of EUROPOLISH srl, one of the leading manufacturers of solid and liquid polishing compositions based in Italy, with support of Klaus Adams.
With further recipe modifications and developments Mr. Adams, former owner of Langsol, decisively contributed to process improvements in polishing for many decades. He is responsible for solid and liquid compounds under the registered trademark KASOL®. In 2013 Europolish succeeded in contracting Mr. Obermann, a highly respected specialist in all applications of polishing, as a technical consultant. Mr. Obermann is surely one of the pioneers in the field of solid and liquid polishing compound in Europe.
EUROPOLISH s.r.l. has more than 60 years of experience in development and the production of polishing compositions. The highly sophisticated product range with brands like EUROPOLISH® and KASOL® are widely used in almost every polishing application in the world of mechanical surface treatment:
Automotive industry, cookware, knives and cutlery, sanitary fittings, door and window handles, stainless steel coils, sheets and tubes, furniture, medical and dental prothesis, implants and equipment, surgical instruments, watches, jewellery, music instruments and lacquered surfaces, etc.
The foundation of Europolish Deutschland GmbH underlines the EP Group strategical expansions and its aim to closely support its partners in the most important industrial regions of Europe, to provide valuable service and rapid responses. Focussing on the customer necessities, process- and solution orientated thinking and acting are essential factors in supporting our partners.
Europolish Deutschland GmbH has a wide range experience and know-how in the field of mechanical surface treatment and is able to provide innovative polishing solutions for highly specialized customized applications at very competitive conditions.

Liquid compounds
At the Europolish S.r.l. (Company subject to the direction and coordination of Wasag Holding AG) plant in Sabbio Chiese, in the province of Brescia, we manufacture liquid abrasive compounds. Our emulsions are developed for the different stages of cutting, polishing and superfinishing, according to the material and the required result.

EUROPOLISH VAGNONE&BOERI S.R.L.
Solid compounds, solvent-based compounds and specialties
At the EUROPOLISH VAGNONE&BOERI S.R.L. plant in Ciriè, in the province of Turin, we manufacture solid abrasive compounds, solvent-based compounds and other specialty products. This specialisation includes Greaseless compounds and solutions from the RETSUL range, extending the options for surface preparation and finishing.
Sabbio Chiese · production technology
From raw materials to compound quality.
Consistent abrasive compounds depend on the entire process. In Sabbio Chiese, raw-material selection, bulk abrasive handling, automation and computerised checks connect each formulation to controlled, traceable production. Research supports technically effective, safe and economically efficient formulations.
Selected raw materials
We source high-performance raw materials internationally, favouring certified suppliers. Selection considers effectiveness, safety and consistent quality to improve the performance of our formulations over time.
Bulk abrasive handling
Bulk abrasive handling and silo storage are part of the automated plant inaugurated in 1999. Loading the main components into the reactors is integrated into process supervision.
PC–PLC supervision
Developed in-house, the system coordinates formulations, reactor loading, temperatures, alarms and packaging. Critical production stages are connected through a single supervision system, with computerised checks on the manufacturing steps.
Quality and traceability
Independent computerised quality control complements internal traceability: the factory network supports tracking of processing and packaging activities. Documented procedures and staff training reinforce attention to products, people and the environment.
Silos and computers: one production system
From silo storage to component dosing, computerised supervision connects the stages of abrasive-compound preparation. The screen shows the loading paths for fats, powders and water, alongside recipe references, weighing scales and material destinations.

In Ciriè, EUROPOLISH VAGNONE&BOERI S.R.L.’s expertise supports the manufacture of solid compounds, solvent-based compounds and specialties. Preparation and mixing are part of a manufacturing heritage that combines raw-material knowledge with application expertise for different finishing requirements.
Production beyond Italy
Our two Italian plants are complemented by the Europolish manufacturing plant in the United States and licensed production by our partner POLYASIA in Thailand. Polyasia Co., Ltd. is an independent company operating under licence from Europolish. It is not part of the Europolish / Hilzinger-Thum group.

Giuseppe Vigevani takes the helm of Europolish
Following extensive experience in Asia, Giuseppe Vigevani takes over the management of Europolish and steers its development into a small, competitive group with a global presence.
Europolish Far East in Malaysia
In 2004, Europolish Far East Sdn. Bhd. is established in Malaysia to strengthen the company’s presence in Southeast Asia.
First licensing agreement: Polyasia
Europolish launches its first licensing agreement in Thailand with Polyasia Co., Ltd., an independent company that is not part of the Europolish / Hilzinger-Thum group.
Europolish Deutschland GmbH
In 2011, Europolish Deutschland GmbH is established to develop Europolish’s presence in the German market.
TEMI acquired in partnership with Hilzinger–Thum
In 2013, Europolish acquires TEMI in partnership with Hilzinger–Thum. The acquisition brings expertise in polishing wheels and finishing tools alongside abrasive compounds.
Shanghai and Hong Kong: strengthening the Far East presence
Europolish Precision Finishing Co. Ltd. is established in Shanghai and Hong Kong in 2013 to strengthen Europolish’s presence in Far Eastern markets.
EMPF: a joint venture for finishing excellence
In France, Europolish and Merard bring their expertise together in EMPF — Europolish Merard Precision Finishing. The joint venture strengthens their position in the luxury sector, with solutions dedicated to superfinishing and the highest quality standards.
Joining Europolish
Europolish acquires the Vagnone & Boeri abrasives business through EUROPOLISH VAGNONE&BOERI S.R.L., incorporating its expertise and Ciriè plant.
Europolish Precision Finishing USA Inc. is established
Europolish Precision Finishing USA Inc. is established in the United States in 2020.
Europolish International UK Co. Ltd. is established
Europolish International UK Co. Ltd. is established in 2026, focusing on the international development of Europolish products, with particular emphasis on the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and India.
Joining Hilzinger–Thum
Entry into the Hilzinger–Thum Group, scheduled to take effect on 16 September 2026: a new international perspective for compounds, tools and finishing solutions.

Effective date stated in the announcement
The announcement sets out plans for Europolish to join the HILZINGER Group from 16 September 2026, through WASAG Holding’s acquisition of a majority stake in Europolish S.r.l. This planned step will bring together our expertise in abrasive compounds and the group’s more than 120 years of experience in tools and solutions for surface treatment.
Products, tools and processes
The integration brings together polishing compounds, products for mass finishing, lapping and fine grinding, and tools and automated processes. The aim is to develop coordinated solutions in which compounds, tools and operating parameters are designed to work together.
Continuity and an international outlook
Europolish retains its identity, organisation and direct relationships with customers. The announcement confirms that Giuseppe Vigevani will continue to lead the company and outlines new opportunities for collaboration in research, technical support and the international sales and logistics network.
